ZOA Energy is a clean energy drink brand co-founded in 2021 by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Dany Garcia, Dave Rienzi, and John Shulman.  The product is positioned as a healthier alternative in the energy drink category, featuring zero sugar, 160 mg of natural caffeine (from green tea and green coffee beans), electrolytes, and B & C vitamins.  In November 2024, Molson Coors acquired a majority stake in ZOA, giving them control over the brand’s marketing, retail, and direct-to-consumer operations.  Despite this, Dwayne Johnson remains a public face of the brand, with the “Big Dwayne Energy” campaign serving as a core branding vehicle. ZOA has expanded its flavor line and retail footprint, launching “Mango Splash” and “Green Apple” flavors in national stores beyond limited runs.
