Murda Beatz (Shane Lee Lindstrom) is a Canadian record producer, songwriter and entrepreneur who emerged out of Ontario to become one of the most in-demand producers in modern hip-hop and trap. Since 2011 he has amassed production credits on songs such as Nice for What by Drake (#1 on the Billboard Hot 100), Motorsport by Migos featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and many platinum-selling singles. He later launched his own imprint, Murda Beatz Recordings, and continues to release music as a lead artist and collaborator, illustrating the evolution from behind-the-scenes creator to brand operator.
