Founded in 2018 and backed with ~$36 m, it was acquired by Bumble in mid-2024 for ~$17.5 m cash to power Bumble’s shift from dating to broader community and friendship. With Geneva’s platform, Bumble aims to deepen the “friendship” and “group” layer of social connection.
