About the Role
Karat is the financial home for creators. We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (Contract) to build top-of-funnel with precision—prospecting creators, opening conversations that convert, and handing qualified opportunities to the sales team. You’re concise, relentless, and comfortable reaching out across Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, and email.
Responsibilities
• Source and qualify creator leads aligned to Karat’s ICP.
• Personalize outreach across DMs and email; book meetings for AE/Founder.
• Maintain clean pipeline hygiene and hit weekly activity/meeting targets.
• Capture learnings from the field to improve messaging and ICP definition.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns, lists, and creator-specific hooks.
Requirements
• 1–3 years in SDR/BDR or creator-facing sales, agency, or partnerships.
• Evidence of high-volume, high-quality outbound (DMs + email).
• Crisp written communication; able to craft hooks creators actually reply to.
• Familiar with CRM tools and basic lead research workflows.
• Genuine interest in the creator economy; you follow the space daily.
Nice to Have
• Experience selling fintech or creator tools.
• Portfolio of successful cold DMs or campaigns.
