About the Role

As a Channel Editor, you’ll help top live streamers turn hours of raw livestream footage into engaging YouTube videos that grow audiences and revenue. This role combines sharp editing instincts, platform fluency, and storytelling skill to make creators’ content perform on YouTube. You’ll manage the full editing and publishing pipeline — from cutting streams to optimizing titles, thumbnails, and metadata — shaping how millions experience creator-led entertainment.

What You’ll Do

• Edit livestreams into compelling YouTube VODs with strong pacing and retention.

• Manage YouTube channel operations — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and scheduling.

• Maintain visual and tonal consistency across multiple creator brands.

• Track performance data and adjust editing or packaging based on analytics.

• Collaborate with Night’s internal teams to scale this new channel service offering.

What You’ll Bring

• 1–3+ years in video editing or YouTube channel management.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong grasp of YouTube’s algorithm, SEO, and monetization systems.

• Understanding of creator and livestream culture (gaming, entertainment, variety).

• Ability to manage multiple channels and meet deadlines independently.

Bonus Points:

• Experience clipping or editing for Twitch streamers or gaming creators.

• Knowledge of YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or short-form adaptation workflows.

• Thumbnail or graphic design skills.
