We’re seeking a Designer, Accessories to join our growing Design team. This is a highly creative and strategic role, leading the design and development of all accessory and packaging categories—ensuring SKIMS’ brand identity is expressed cohesively across every touchpoint.

Position Overview

As the Designer for Accessories, you’ll own the creative process from concept to production. You’ll design, develop, and execute packaging and accessory collections that align with SKIMS’ seasonal campaigns and business objectives.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity and strategy—working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Production, Brand, and Marketing to deliver elevated, innovative designs that reflect the SKIMS aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of all accessories and packaging from concept to final production.

• Research trends, materials, finishes, and sustainability innovations to keep SKIMS at the forefront of design.

• Create detailed technical drawings, mockups, and specifications for vendor execution.

• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, review prototypes, and oversee sampling.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs align with brand, merchandising, and marketing strategies.

• Present design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes to leadership for review and approval.

• Maintain awareness of market trends, new technologies, and sustainability practices to drive innovation.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field.

• 4+ years of design experience in accessories or product design (fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industry preferred).

• Deep knowledge of materials, printing techniques, and product development processes.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD software; 3D rendering experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with proven cross-functional collaboration experience.

$85,000 – $95,000 / year

(Dependent on experience and qualifications.)
