About the Role
As Director, Growth Marketing, you’ll lead goop’s paid and performance marketing strategy, driving both acquisition and retention across key business lines — including goop Beauty and goop Fashion.
Reporting to the VP of Growth & Digital Marketing, you’ll blend analytical rigor with creative intuition, optimizing paid campaigns while keeping the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling at the center. This is a role for a data-informed brand builder — someone who can scale efficiently, think strategically, and lead both in-house teams and external partners toward measurable, sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Performance
• Lead goop’s acquisition and retention strategies, optimizing CAC and maximizing LTV across cohorts.
• Manage and scale performance channels, including paid social (Meta), affiliate, and SEM, while identifying emerging growth opportunities.
• Build a culture of experimentation — from testing ad creative to optimizing landing pages and messaging funnels.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, lifecycle, data, and finance to align growth goals with company-wide objectives.
• Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring accountability, innovation, and ROI.
Data, Insights & Reporting
• Develop and maintain customer analytics frameworks focused on retention, LTV, and cohort performance.
• Present key metrics, insights, and recommendations to leadership, translating complex data into clear strategic action.
• Implement scalable processes for campaign tracking, attribution, and reporting.
Brand Integration & Collaboration
• Work with creative and brand marketing teams to align growth initiatives with goop’s visual and editorial identity.
• Translate performance insights into creative briefs and storytelling strategies that balance conversion with brand value.
• Collaborate on lifecycle marketing efforts to improve customer retention and loyalty.

Qualifications & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
• Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads, affiliate marketing, and SEM; CRM experience a plus.
• Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and scale campaigns based on key performance metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV).
• Strong grasp of testing frameworks, from creative iteration to messaging and audience segmentation.
• Advanced analytical skills with fluency in Excel, GA, and attribution platforms.
• A hybrid thinker — equally creative and analytical, with an ability to balance growth metrics and brand integrity.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
