The Role

The Director of Platform & Partnerships will lead all relationships with social platforms and strategic partners — from Meta, YouTube, and TikTok to emerging technologies shaping the creator economy. This high-impact position sits at the intersection of strategy, growth, and innovation, helping Influential stay at the forefront of social and influencer marketing. You’ll secure alpha/beta opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and align platform relationships to drive measurable growth across our client base.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as Influential’s primary liaison with major social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, etc.).

• Lead strategic conversations and partnership activations that unlock new revenue opportunities.

• Collaborate with Sales, Client Management, Creative, and Creator teams to integrate platform capabilities into campaigns.

• Manage ongoing communication with platforms to secure early access to new features and tools.

• Build “test-and-learn” initiatives with internal paid media teams.

• Develop and deliver internal trainings on emerging platform trends and best practices.

• Identify, negotiate, and operationalize partnerships aligned with Influential’s mission and market positioning.

• Draft and finalize legal agreements with key technology and innovation partners.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation from sale to activation.

• Report directly to the SVP of Growth, helping shape long-term strategic priorities.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in partnerships, social strategy, or influencer marketing.

• Deep expertise in major social platforms and their evolving monetization ecosystems.

• Proven success driving revenue growth through strategic alliances.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in fast-paced environments.

• Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in marketing.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
