Role Overview

As Head of Production, you’ll lead the creative engine behind Flightstory’s world-class media output — overseeing everything from original show formats like The Diary of a CEO to branded content and global campaigns. You’ll manage end-to-end production — from ideation to delivery — ensuring that every piece of content meets the highest creative and operational standards.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity, leadership, and execution. You’ll oversee production teams, develop scalable systems, and push creative boundaries that define the visual and narrative identity of our projects.

Your Mission

To build and lead a world-class production department that delivers cinematic, emotionally resonant, and culturally relevant content at scale. You’ll set the standard for operational excellence, creative execution, and innovation across all Flightstory productions.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee end-to-end production for all video and content projects across Flightstory and its brands.
• Manage, mentor, and scale a team of producers, editors, and videographers to deliver best-in-class work.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, creative directors, and brand leads to translate vision into execution.
• Develop and implement efficient production systems, workflows, and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality control and storytelling across all visual output.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, technology, and creative best practices to keep Flightstory at the cutting edge.
• Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence within the production team.

We’re Looking For
• 7+ years in video production, creative operations, or film/media production leadership.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-format productions (digital, branded, and original IP).
• Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Strong leadership and people management skills — able to inspire and motivate diverse creative teams.
• Expertise in production planning, budgeting, and workflow optimisation.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Passion for culture, storytelling, and creating media that makes an impact.

Location

Shoreditch, London — In-person-first culture with a focus on creativity, connection, and collaboration. Occasional global travel may be required for major shoots or productions.
