The Role

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to scale the systems that power millions of friendships. You’ll own and evolve the backbone of Partiful — ensuring speed, reliability, and developer velocity as we grow.

You’ll design cloud architecture, optimize CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and empower the team with tools that keep our stack fast, stable, and secure.

Our stack: React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, and GCP (serverless architecture).

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP (Cloud Functions, Firestore, Cloud Tasks, Redis, Pub/Sub, etc.)

• Improve system reliability and observability (monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing).

• Evolve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate and de-risk shipping.

• Collaborate with engineers to design efficient APIs, databases, and backend systems.

• Implement security best practices (secrets management, access control, incident prevention).

• Drive uptime, scalability, and performance as Partiful’s user base grows.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate debugging, testing, and automation.

• Join a team that moves fast, thinks deeply, and celebrates progress — at some great parties.

Who You Are

• 3–10 years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Backend Engineering, ideally in high-growth environments.

• Experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale.

• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, observability, and GCP tooling.

• Solid grasp of security, networking, and performance fundamentals.

• Comfortable in TypeScript/Node.js environments.

• A systems thinker with a builder’s mindset — automating wherever possible.

• Pragmatic, collaborative, and energized by hard technical problems.

• Passionate about scaling products that bring people together.
