The Role

Framer is looking for a Security Associate — an early-career professional eager to help shape and scale our security and compliance program. You’ll collaborate across engineering, legal, and operations to strengthen our systems, refine our processes, and nurture a company-wide culture of trust and security.

What You’ll Do

• Support security audits and risk reviews, identifying gaps and ensuring timely remediation.

• Learn and apply industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

• Collaborate across teams — engineering, legal, product, and operations — to embed security into every layer of Framer.

• Take ownership of daily operations including employee onboarding, access management, device security, and vendor compliance.

• Promote a security-first culture through training, documentation, and proactive engagement.

• Monitor and report on Framer’s security performance, identifying areas for improvement.

• Partner with external auditors and security vendors, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world audit cycles.

• Earn industry certifications supported by Framer’s professional growth program.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 0–3 years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management.

• A strong sense of curiosity and ownership — you make security accessible and actionable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Collaborative mindset — you’re here to solve problems, not police teams.

• (Nice to have) Experience in SaaS or scaling tech environments.

• (Bonus) Familiarity with automation and compliance tools such as Vanta.
