About the Company

Audio Media Grading (AMG) is the global authority in recorded music authentication and grading. We set the industry standard for collectors and investors by providing expert validation, grading, and preservation across every format—vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and 8-tracks. Our mission is simple: protect music history and transform sound into legend.

About the Role

As the Lead Researcher, you’ll be the first line of trust for the world’s largest recorded music grading company. You’ll research, verify, and authenticate submissions — from rare vinyl pressings to collectible cassettes — ensuring every graded item meets AMG’s gold standard of accuracy and integrity.

This role blends investigative precision with a passion for music history. You’ll help define the operational playbook that will scale AMG into the global benchmark for collectible audio verification.

What You’ll Do

• Research and authenticate recorded music submissions across multiple formats (vinyl, CD, cassette, 8-track).

• Validate accuracy of metadata, catalog numbers, editions, and release details.

• Interface with customers to clarify missing or inconsistent information.

• Develop and refine AMG’s research and operations standards as the company scales.

• Collaborate closely with operations, authentication, and archival teams.

• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all authenticated submissions.

What You’ll Bring

• 1–3 years of experience in music research, collectibles, or authentication.

• Deep firsthand knowledge of recorded music formats and production variations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and focus for long-form research work.

• Strong communication and organization skills; able to balance speed and accuracy.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in team-based environments.

• Passion for music history, collectibles, and archival integrity.

Why AMG

Join a first-of-its-kind company shaping the future of collectible music. You’ll work at the intersection of music culture, authentication technology, and collectible investment — helping preserve sound as a cultural artifact for generations to come.
