About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Content Podcast Editor to join the team behind Creator Now & Next — Pearpop’s original podcast highlighting the voices shaping the creator economy, culture, and marketing.

This is a hands-on role for a strategic storyteller with a sharp editorial eye and a pulse on social media culture. You’ll edit full podcast episodes, produce viral short-form clips, and help define the show’s visual and narrative identity across platforms.

You’ll work from our in-house studio in Los Angeles, collaborating closely with producers, hosts, and Pearpop’s marketing team to create high-impact, platform-optimized content.

What You’ll Do

• Edit full-length podcast episodes (30–60 min) for YouTube and major audio platforms.

• Produce short-form clips (10–90 sec) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

• Identify standout moments and craft compelling hooks for social audiences.

• Add captions, branding, and graphics aligned with Pearpop’s visual identity.

• Work cross-functionally with producers, hosts, and marketing to ensure quality and consistency.

• Manage content pipelines and deliver weekly assets on schedule.

• Stay current with platform trends, editing styles, and engagement best practices.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience editing social-first video content or podcasts.

• Strong editorial instincts with a deep understanding of storytelling and pacing.

• Expert knowledge of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and platform-native trends.

• Skilled in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent).

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

• Based in Los Angeles and available to work on-site (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
