Valuetainment is hiring a Podcast Researcher to power our conversations with depth, accuracy, and insight. You’ll uncover stories behind the stories, verify facts, and prepare research that equips our hosts to lead world-class interviews.

This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role that combines journalistic rigor with creative curiosity.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-depth research on topics, current events, and potential guests.

• Vet and fact-check all content for accuracy and credibility.

• Prepare comprehensive research briefs, guest dossiers, and interview notes.

• Identify and evaluate potential guests; assist with outreach coordination when needed.

• Track audience data, cultural trends, and emerging themes to guide show direction.

• Collaborate with producers to craft sharper narratives and informed discussions.

• Maintain an organized archive of research materials and sources.

• Help elevate each episode’s depth, context, and credibility.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in journalism, political media, or long-form digital content.

• Proven ability to research, synthesize, and summarize complex information quickly.

• Obsessive attention to detail and source verification.

• Familiarity with SEO, audience behavior, and digital media trends.

• Strong writing and communication skills; clarity is your superpower.

• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects.

• Proficiency with research and productivity tools (MS Office, Google Suite, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or similar field preferred.
