The Role

In October 2024, Circle launched Email Hub — a major new extension of the platform. We’re now hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer to help build the next evolution of Circle’s Email Workflows and Editor, powering creator-led communities and brand communications at scale.

You’ll work end-to-end across the development lifecycle — from technical planning and architecture to deployment and iteration. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and leadership to ship features fast while maintaining exceptional code quality.

This is an opportunity to shape one of Circle’s most important new product lines.

What You’ll Do

• Build new features for Email Hub, including workflows, automations, and the email editor.

• Work autonomously in a React + TypeScript + Tailwind architecture integrated with a Ruby on Rails backend.

• Collaborate with designers and product leads to deliver world-class user experiences.

• Continuously improve the codebase — refactoring, testing, and optimizing for performance.

• Identify and resolve architectural gaps while ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Lead complex projects from ideation to release with high attention to detail.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer building complex web applications.

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and REST APIs.

• Deep product judgment and a meticulous eye for UI/UX detail.

• Experience working autonomously in high-speed, async, remote teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication in English (CEFR C2 / ILR 5).

• Bonus:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails backends.

• Experience building email editors, automations, or deliverability tools.

• Prior work in community or creator-focused platforms.

• Startup or fast-growth company experience.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 $130,000 – $140,000 USD + equity
