The Role

The Applied AI team at Circle is pioneering the use of large language models (LLMs) to enhance the creator and community experience. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who thrives on experimentation and rapid iteration to build production-ready AI features that push what’s possible inside Circle.

You’ll work across the stack — from Ruby on Rails and React to infrastructure — to ship tools like AI agents, retrieval-augmented systems, and custom inference pipelines.

What You’ll Do

• Ship full-stack AI features from prototype to production using Rails + React.

• Design and run experiments and A/B tests to evaluate LLM-powered features.

• Build infrastructure for AI inference, fine-tuning, and integration.

• Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Stay on the cutting edge of AI research and tools.

• Balance speed of experimentation with quality, reliability, and scalability.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development (high-scale apps).

• Strong skills in Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.

• Experience with AI experimentation or enthusiasm for LLM-driven products.

• Fast learner with a bias toward shipping and iterating quickly.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Proficient English (CEFR C2 / ILR 5).

• Bonus: Experience with AI infrastructure, RAG pipelines, or model deployment.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 $130,000 – $140,000 USD + equity
