The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our CRM & Workflow team — the group responsible for Circle’s next generation of tools that help creators manage members, automate workflows, and foster deeper connections within their communities.

You’ll work across the Ruby on Rails backend and React frontend, owning the entire lifecycle of new features — from system design and implementation to launch and iteration. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly power how communities onboard, engage, and scale on Circle.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship CRM, automation, and workflow features used by thousands of communities.

• Develop across the stack — Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.

• Collaborate closely with design and product to craft seamless user experiences.

• Architect scalable systems that improve speed, reliability, and usability.

• Break down large epics into actionable tasks and own them end-to-end.

• Continuously improve code quality, testing, and technical documentation.

• Contribute to team-wide architectural discussions and long-term planning.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer working on complex web apps.

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and relational databases.

• Product-driven mindset — you care deeply about how features serve users.

• Ability to balance speed of iteration with code quality and long-term scalability.

• Excellent written and verbal communication (English, CEFR C2 / ILR 5).

• Experience working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

• Bonus:

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Sidekiq, or Graph Databases.

• Experience with CRM, workflow automation, or recommendation systems.

• Background in creator platforms or community-driven SaaS.

• Track record of learning new technologies quickly and shipping high-quality code.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 $130,000 – $140,000 USD + equity
