The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Circle’s Discover Team, the group behind Circle’s curated marketplace for finding and purchasing digital experiences — from memberships and courses to entire communities.

You’ll help shape how millions of users discover value in community, building elegant, scalable, and high-performing product experiences that connect members to creators.

This is a high-impact, product-led engineering role for someone who wants to build at the intersection of commerce, discovery, and community tech.

What You’ll Do

• Build polished, high-converting user experiences that make it easy for users to explore and purchase digital memberships, courses, and events.

• Work across a Ruby on Rails backend and React + Next.js frontend, implementing SSR/SSG, routing, and performance optimizations.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to craft world-class user experiences.

• Ship fast, experiment often, and refine continuously — without compromising quality.

• Improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability within a high-traffic architecture.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve Circle’s technical foundation.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development at scale (100k+ RPM, large DBs).

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, PostgreSQL/MySQL.

• Experience building performant, SEO-friendly Next.js apps.

• Passion for rapid iteration, experimentation, and autonomous work.

• Comfort working in a fast-moving, async, global team environment.

• Excellent English communication (CEFR C2 / ILR 5).

• Bonus: Experience with creator platforms, social feeds, or marketplace products.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 $130,000 – $140,000 USD + equity
