The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Circle’s Growth Engineering team — the group responsible for scaling how creators and businesses grow on Circle. You’ll work on billing, onboarding, analytics, trials, and member experiences — the key systems driving revenue and adoption.

This is a product-driven, data-informed role where your code will directly influence growth, engagement, and retention across millions of members worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Build features across Ruby on Rails (backend) and React + TypeScript (frontend).

• Own complex, high-impact projects from concept through rollout and optimization.

• Collaborate with product, design, and data to ship elegant, measurable solutions.

• Design and run A/B experiments to test and scale user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

• Enhance Circle’s billing infrastructure, supporting both self-serve and sales-led flows.

• Build analytics and event tracking systems that power business and customer insights.

• Balance iteration speed with performance, reliability, and premium user experience.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer building production web applications.

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Strong track record of shipping customer-facing experiences that drive measurable results.

• Comfort designing, testing, and deploying experiments in fast-moving environments.

• Excellent communication skills (English CEFR C2 / ILR 5).

• Product-first mindset — focused on how code impacts the end user.

• Experience collaborating across teams and disciplines.

• Bonus:

• Background in growth engineering or experimentation.

• Experience with Stripe, billing systems, or payment APIs.

• Familiarity with analytics platforms or observability systems.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 $130,000 – $140,000 USD + equity
