The Role

We’re hiring Senior Product Engineers to shape the future of developer monetization. You’ll work across the stack — from backend logic to frontend polish — building features that delight developers and accelerate their business growth.

At Polar, engineers ship code multiple times per day with minimal bureaucracy. You’ll have deep autonomy, collaborate closely with the founder and team, and directly influence how our platform evolves.

What You’ll Do
• Ship daily to build the world’s best monetization platform for developers.
• Design, build, and deploy features end-to-end — from concept to production.
• Jump seamlessly between frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate on system design, best practices, and architecture decisions.
• Engage with our developer community to identify problems and deliver solutions.
• Continuously refine the quality, speed, and developer experience of our platform.

What You’ll Bring
• 7+ years building and scaling production-grade software.
• Full-stack mastery — from API design to UI implementation.
• Deep experience with our stack or similar:
• Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind, Shadcn, TanStack Router
• Backend: Python (FastAPI), Postgres, Redis, Dramatiq
• Cloud: Vercel, Render, AWS
• Strong problem-solving ability and bias for action.
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure and multi-cloud systems.
• Passion for developer experience, performance, and elegant design.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator in small, fast teams.

Bonus:
• Ex-founder, startup CTO, or open source maintainer.
• Experience in payments, billing, or developer tools.
