The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our fully remote team and help build the tools that power Framer’s design ecosystem. You’ll work across the stack — from the React-based editor and canvas to plugins, CMS, and collaborative infrastructure — to shape how designers and developers create on the web.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who values craft, performance, and impact.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve features across Framer’s core editor, CMS, and plugin ecosystem.

• Translate ambitious ideas into high-quality, shippable products.

• Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to solve complex product challenges.

• Mentor teammates, sharing knowledge and improving team velocity.

• Balance speed and craftsmanship — shipping impactful work while maintaining long-term quality.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Experience with full-stack development (Node, Go).

• Strong understanding of automated testing, QA, and reliability practices.

• (Bonus) Skills in browser optimization, compiler design, or UX engineering.
