The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help scale and secure Framer’s global hosting infrastructure. You’ll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, and developer experience — ensuring Framer’s systems run fast, reliably, and securely as we continue to grow.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on optimizing large-scale systems, loves automation, and brings both strategic thinking and deep technical skill to the table.

What You’ll Do

• Scale Framer’s hosting infrastructure to support millions of users globally.

• Design, deploy, and operate secure, cloud-native solutions in AWS.

• Implement robust monitoring, observability, and alerting systems for performance, reliability, and security.

• Develop failover, recovery, and incident response strategies to ensure maximum uptime.

• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to embed SRE principles across the stack.

• Continuously improve system performance, deployment pipelines, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years building and scaling production infrastructure.

• Deep expertise in AWS and managing complex, distributed cloud systems.

• Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS ECS.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Go.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
