About the Role

As Senior Systems Engineer (HR Tech), you’ll design and manage the systems that power the MrBeast team itself — from recruiting to payroll. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and HR, building the integrations and automations that make the company operate smoothly at global scale.

You’ll own the entire HR tech stack, connecting platforms like Rippling, Gusto, Deel, and Greenhouse — while preparing the organization for enterprise migration to Workday. It’s a mix of systems architecture, automation, and strategic enablement — critical to the next phase of Beast Industries’ growth.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and integrate HR systems across recruiting, onboarding, and payroll platforms.

• Automate employee lifecycle workflows via APIs, scripts, and custom data flows.

• Build data pipelines into a central warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) for reporting and analytics.

• Lead HRIS migrations and tool consolidations — from prototype to rollout.

• Act as the technical lead for HR systems across Tech, People Ops, and Finance.

• Ensure compliance (SOC 2, GDPR) and maintain data integrity across all HR platforms.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to turn HR data into actionable business insights.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in systems or software engineering, ideally in HRIS or enterprise SaaS environments.

• Hands-on experience with modern HR platforms (Rippling, Workday, Deel, Gusto, or Greenhouse).

• Strong API and scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, REST, JSON).

• Proficiency with SQL and experience managing data pipelines or warehouses.

• Deep understanding of employee lifecycle systems and People Analytics.

• Bonus: Experience with ETL tools (Airbyte, Fivetran) or Workday migrations.
