About the Role

As a Senior Video Editor, you’ll lead the transformation of raw, long-form footage into high-retention YouTube content that educates and inspires millions. This is a hybrid creative-strategic role where editorial precision meets storytelling instinct. You’ll work directly with Alex & Leila Hormozi’s content team to craft world-class videos that drive growth, build authority, and raise the bar for business education online.

What You’ll Do

• Edit multiple long-form YouTube videos weekly, optimizing for retention and storytelling impact.

• Guide pre-production alignment and post-production delivery, ensuring creative consistency.

• Develop motion graphics and branded visual language aligned with ACQ’s tone and voice.

• Analyze performance metrics and audience retention graphs to refine editing approach.

• Collaborate with short-form editors to repurpose key moments into clips and promos.

• Maintain project organization, naming conventions, and cross-team communication.

• Provide proactive creative feedback to improve filming, structure, and on-camera performance.

• Identify trends and competitive insights to continuously raise creative standards.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of professional editing experience, ideally in YouTube or creator-driven content.

• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects experience preferred).

• Strong narrative instincts with the ability to balance storytelling and pacing.

• A growth mindset and obsession with continuous creative improvement.

• Exceptional organization, communication, and self-management skills.

• Portfolio of high-quality YouTube or educational video content (required).

• Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 / year

• Relocation: $5,000–$7,000 + 1 month of temporary housing
