About the Role — Sports Trader

Betr is seeking a Sports Trader with deep enthusiasm for the sports gaming industry. Reporting to the Head of Sports Trading, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our odds markets, driving profitability, and expanding market offerings.

You’ll be responsible for managing odds, analyzing player props, and reacting in real time to news and line movements. This is a hands-on role requiring analytical precision, composure under pressure, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and major sporting events.

What You’ll Do

• Manage risk and liability across all DFS player prop markets in line with Betr’s trading SOPs

• Monitor real-time sports news and injury updates to adjust markets dynamically

• Set and refine odds based on data models and market consensus

• Analyze trading reports to ensure accurate player profiling and identify key performance insights

• Collaborate with operations and product teams to improve the customer experience

About You

• 3+ years of experience trading on a DFS or sports betting platform

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; expert in odds calculation and market modeling

• Passion for sports and gaming with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities

• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally

• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to manage projects end-to-end

• Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organizational discipline
