The Role
We’re seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale the systems powering millions of users — and to shape how our engineering organization builds software at speed.

You’ll own our infrastructure end-to-end: designing fault-tolerant, high-performance systems; leading high-leverage technical initiatives; and driving developer velocity through automation and AI.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll set the bar for technical excellence, reliability, and speed as Partiful continues to grow.

Our Stack: React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript — all built on GCP (Firestore, Cloud Run, Redis, Pub/Sub) in a serverless environment.

What You’ll Do
• Architect and evolve GCP infrastructure for scale, speed, and security.
• Design fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems with observability at their core.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve developer velocity and performance.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and release systems supporting continuous deployment.
• Set and maintain reliability and performance metrics across uptime, latency, and cost.
• Drive AI enablement — embedding intelligent workflows and automation into development.
• Partner with leadership to align infra strategy with product and business goals.
• Mentor engineers, elevate standards, and shape the company’s technical culture.
• Champion a culture of speed, reliability, and operational excellence.

Who You Are
• 7–12+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or backend engineering, with proven success scaling complex systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, and observability.
• Experience scaling products from millions to tens of millions of users.
• Strong coder in Node.js/TypeScript with top-tier debugging skills.
• Mastery of CI/CD design, developer environments, and performance tuning.
• Known for accelerating team velocity through great systems and automation.
• Proficient with AI tooling — and passionate about helping others leverage it.
• Calm under pressure, fast under constraints, and deeply accountable.
• Excellent communicator who influences architecture across teams.
