The Role

We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer (Core) to lead the design vision for Linktree’s flagship experiences — the link editor and core app. This role sits at the intersection of design systems, user experience, and product innovation. You’ll drive cohesion across our platform, set design standards, and deliver beautiful, high-performing user experiences that reach tens of millions globally.

As a design leader, you’ll partner with engineering and product to create the next generation of Linktree’s interface — shaping how the world builds their online identity.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Design Vision: Define and execute the product design strategy for our core experiences, ensuring alignment across teams.

• Design for Millions: Deliver scalable, elegant interfaces for Linktree’s 70M+ creators and businesses.

• Leverage AI Tools: Rapidly concept, prototype, and validate designs with AI-driven workflows for faster feedback and iteration.

• Shape Systems: Contribute to design systems, UI libraries, and scalable interaction patterns.

• Collaborate Deeply: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to ship cohesive, data-informed user experiences.

• Mentor & Inspire: Guide junior designers and help elevate design craft across the organization.

• Champion the User: Conduct UX research and usability testing to uncover insights and inform design decisions.

Who You Are

• 8+ years in digital product design with a strong record of leading end-to-end design projects.

• Deep expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and design systems.

• Proficiency with Figma, prototyping tools, and emerging AI-assisted design workflows.

• Proven ability to design for scale and consistency across complex product ecosystems.

• Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator with strong visual storytelling skills.

• A product thinker who thrives on solving hard problems and delivering polished, high-impact experiences.

Compensation

💰 $200,000–$230,000 USD base salary (San Francisco or Los Angeles)
