About the Role

You’re the person who keeps the magic running behind the scenes — the one who can wire, fix, and finesse a studio setup until it’s perfect. Valuetainment is hiring a Studio Production Utility Technician to join our fast-paced production team.

You’ll support every stage of production — from setting up cameras and lighting to troubleshooting audio and maintaining technical gear. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, hands-on environments where every day brings a new challenge.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and tear down equipment for live and recorded productions, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and mixers.

• Operate and maintain technical gear — ensuring proper levels, calibration, and performance across video, audio, and lighting systems.

• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently during shoots or broadcasts.

• Perform preventive maintenance on studio equipment and keep systems running optimally.

• Assist with set changes, manage studio inventory, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and crew to execute the technical vision for every show.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting systems — both setup and operation.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high production standards.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Physical ability to handle and move equipment (up to 25 lbs).

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or related field preferred.
