About the Role
The Territory Manager, Wholesale will be responsible for driving sales performance and brand education across key retail partners, ensuring goop beauty is represented with excellence at every point of sale.
This role combines sales leadership with creative brand storytelling — engaging directly with retailers, educating teams, and inspiring customers through hands-on in-store execution. You’ll build relationships that drive growth, elevate goop’s in-store presence, and champion a luxury brand experience across your region.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
• Own accountability for sales performance across all retail doors within the assigned territory.
• Analyze sales performance by door, identifying opportunities to increase sell-through and profitability.
• Develop tailored business plans and execute promotional strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain timely, professional communication with retail partners and corporate teams.
Training & Brand Education
• Conduct in-store training and coaching sessions to build product knowledge and brand advocacy.
• Recruit, train, and motivate freelance Beauty Ambassadors to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead impactful brand events, activations, and in-store demonstrations that bring goop beauty to life.
• Ensure merchandising standards align with goop’s premium brand aesthetic across all retail locations.
Relationship Building
• Establish and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key retail management teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners, ensuring alignment on brand strategy and performance.
• Act as an on-the-ground ambassador for goop beauty — building visibility, excitement, and trust in the brand.
Operational Excellence
• Manage budgets responsibly, ensuring efficient use of resources to drive performance.
• Travel up to 40% to visit retail partners, train teams, and execute regional events (weekend availability required).
• Report regularly on market insights, competitor activity, and emerging retail opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in the beauty industry, with at least 3 years as a Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years as an Account Coordinator (or equivalent).
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals within prestige retail environments (e.g., ULTA, Bluemercury, Nordstrom).
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills for developing high-performing sales teams.
• Deep understanding of visual merchandising and brand representation standards.
• Experience in sales analysis, forecasting, and event execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 40% of the time (including weekends).
