More than a podcast, Begin Again is a visual storytelling platform — and we’re looking for a talented Video Editor to help shape its next chapter.

Mission

As Video Editor, you’ll craft the visual identity of Begin Again — from full-length YouTube episodes to emotionally charged short-form content. Working across multi-camera footage, you’ll bring precision, emotion, and narrative clarity to every frame.

This is primarily a post-production role, but with opportunities to contribute during production — helping to set up, operate, and quality-control footage. You’ll combine technical mastery with creative intuition to elevate one of the UK’s most meaningful shows.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Editing & Post-Production
• Edit weekly multi-camera podcast episodes (5-camera setup, dual audio channels) into dynamic, emotionally engaging stories for YouTube.
• Cut short-form content (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok) that captures powerful, viral moments from each episode.
• Integrate motion graphics, music, and colour grading to deliver polished, high-quality videos aligned with the show’s tone.
• Implement notes efficiently and thoughtfully from producers and creative leadership.

Production Support
• Support in-studio shoots: operate cameras, assist with visual setup, and ensure footage meets editorial needs.
• Collaborate with producers and talent to anticipate editing opportunities during filming.
• Capture and edit behind-the-scenes vlog-style content for promotional use.

Creative Input
• Contribute to visual storytelling, pacing, and framing decisions to enhance narrative flow.
• Stay current with editing trends, tools, and social platform best practices.
• Collaborate with creative and social teams to maintain visual consistency across all channels.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a video editor, with strong multicam editing and storytelling ability.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, with knowledge of codecs, colour correction, audio, and export workflows.
• Experience operating cameras and working in a studio production environment.
• Strong creative instincts for emotion, structure, and pacing.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for purpose-driven content that explores growth, reinvention, and human stories.
