Valuetainment, home to the world’s top business and entrepreneurship content, is hiring a YouTube Thumbnail Designer to transform our videos into irresistible visual experiences. You’ll combine strategic insight, viral design instincts, and data-driven iteration to create thumbnails that define the look and feel of our growing media empire.

What You’ll Do

• Design high-performing thumbnails that drive clicks, engagement, and watch time across YouTube and other platforms.

• Collaborate with producers, editors, and marketing leads to align visual direction with content strategy.

• Conduct A/B testing and iterate based on real performance metrics and audience behavior.

• Build and maintain a library of templates, assets, and brand systems for Valuetainment’s expanding channel network.

• Use imagery, facial expression, and color contrast to craft thumbnails optimized for emotional and psychological response.

• Stay ahead of YouTube design trends, studying top creators and emerging styles to keep Valuetainment’s visuals sharp and current.

• Incorporate AI-assisted tools into your Photoshop and Illustrator workflow to enhance speed, creativity, and consistency.

• Execute multiple design projects at high velocity — balancing creativity with precision under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of experience designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails or social media visuals with proven CTR results.

• Deep understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, audience psychology, and visual storytelling principles.

• Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Mastery of composition, lighting, typography, and retouching for digital images.

• Proficiency in AI-based image generation and integration into creative workflows.

• Obsessed with growth metrics, optimization, and constant improvement.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent experience preferred.
